Bedroom Refresh
While my bedroom has been in need of an update for quite some time, moving inspired me to finally make a change. It is still a major work in progress, but I am so much happier with how much brighter and pulled together it feels with just a few small changes already.
My old throw pillows were from Pottery Barn (years ago), along with my West Elm headboard & table lamps. Most of these are old enough that the styles are no longer made, and I do plan on replacing my whole bed eventually. But for now, a few trips to Target and Home Depot helped me brighten it up significantly and make it feel like new. I love these gold photo frames from Target. I saw them on a local blogger’s bedroom wall and loved them. I just printed off a few photos I had taken from my travels (and after several failed attempts, got them hung myself). I also picked up this cozy throw blanket and the new Square Block Print Paisley throw pillows from Target’s Threshold collection. The pillows also come in a lovely yellow and white combination.
A trip to Home Depot for some touch up paint lead to me repainting both nightstands, and I am so happy with how much lighter they look in the room. The nightstands were $50 ten years ago from Nadeau Dallas and have held up incredibly well.
I am having so much fun redecorating, especially when our lives are forcing us to stay home more than ever. Have you been doing any redecorating during this quarantine?
